I PARCHI LETTERARI "IN THE DIMENSION OF THE JOURNEY" - "IN THE DIMENSION OF THE JOURNEY": THE JOURNEY'S ITINERARY

The most frequent itinerary followed by travellers included:
Sciacca, Eraclea Minoa, Agrigento, Palma di Montechiaro and Licata. Other stopovers have included Montallegro and Siculiana. Therefore, this was more of a journey that did not stray too far from the coastline; some exceptions were visits to Caltabellotta, Favara and Aragona.
The stops on the journeys were often similar not only because the travellers wanted to see the same places that had been visited by those who had been there before, even bringing diaries along, but also because they encountered difficulties that were associated with the poor road conditions, dangers from brigands and problems in finding accommodations, which were lacking almost everywhere.

However, we have identified an itinerary that follows the journeys that were taken by those travellers, which connects the aforementioned places, and at the same time highlights some other places that can be considered “hubs”, or points of exchange and encounter where it is possible to intertwine more than one route and more than one suggestion.

During I Parchi Letterari® “In the Dimension of the Journey” itinerary, we shall be accompanied by an exceptional guide, a Storyteller, a true bridge between the past and the present, who will allow us to relive the pages written by the travellers from both the most distant past and more recent times.
In I Parchi Letterari® the Storyteller allows us to move through different dimensions of time and compare the pages from the literature of the past with the present.

Neither the enquiring tourist nor the impassioned lover of local literature or legends will be deluded... this type of journey, because it is an emotional one, can be taken by anyone, as long as the traveller is willing to be seduced and transported to other dimensions of space and time for a while. In the end, the “traveller” may discover that he has actually taken a journey within himself, finding those lost echoes, and reawakening ancient and comforting memories.
Let the Journey Begin!....
